Terms and Conditions of Hire on the Day

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury and damage to the inflatable at the time of hire. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are adhered to.

This castle has an age limit of 12 years or a height of 1.4.  Please ensure no-one over
this age uses the equipment. The soft play has an age limit of 5 years.

A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable/soft play at all times.

No food or drinks to be consumed on the inflatable/soft play to avoid choking & mess.

All shoes, badges, jewellery, (i.e. large earrings, necklaces etc.) MUST be removed. It is recommended that spectacles are also removed.

No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or “silly string”must be used near or  on the inflatable/soft play, as they make a mess and can permanently stain the inflatable

No smoking near or on the equipment.

Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is dangerous and can damage the inflatable and must not be allowed.

Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on age and size of children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded. maximum numbers are noted on the front of each castle.

Avoid large children and small children from using the inflatable at the same time. Some children require strict supervision.

The safety mats must remain at the front of the inflatable at all times.

No rough play, somersaults and backflips.

Do not tamper with the anchor pegs or sand bags that have been attached
to the inflatable to secure its position.

If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day you can switch the blower off at the mains.

Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step. The step is there to help users get on and off.

Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems or with any injuries use the inflatable.

Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation to avoid suffocation.

In the event of heavy rain the inflatable must not be used! Once heavy rain has passed the castle must be dried before use

In the event of high winds the inflatable must be switched off.  If the wind continues then the inflatable must not be operated in any circumstances for safety reasons.

Please note we cannot offer discounts and refunds due to the weather.

In the event that the blower loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, check the ties around the blower, tighten them if necessary and then switch it back on again, and it should restart. If it does not, or there is a problem, inform us immediately.

Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times and is not tampered with.

Do not attempt to move or reposition the inflatable/soft play from the place of set up.

Do not allow animals on or around the inflatable/soft play.

No one under the influence of drink and drugs should use the inflatable.

The inflatable must be collected in the same condition it was delivered to you, clean and dry.

Please note that if there is any damage to the inflatable/soft play due to negligence and not adhering to the above terms, you will be liable for any damages.
